What are your credentials?
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in California. I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I am a Psychologist in Los Angeles, California, where I provide quality psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, couples and families.
What populations do you work with?
I am able to work with many different populations. In my current practice, I am available for the treatment of individuals from adolescence through older adulthood, as well as couples.
What is your clinical orientation?
My clinical orientation is integrative, which means that I tailor my treatment method based on the needs and characteristics of each client. Generally, my treatment approach draws upon cognitive behavioral, humanistic, family systems, and/or psychodynamic theories. Central to my work with every client is a strong therapeutic relationship based on genuine compassion, trust, and respect.
What can I expect to happen at the first session?
Our initial session will involve an intake interview that consists of completing paperwork, discussing your concerns, and reviewing relevant history and background information. Based on this intake, I will make recommendations with respect to treatment. In many cases, I recommend and offer psychotherapy based on the initial assessment. In some instances, however, I will recommend services that are better provided by other professionals, and I will provide appropriate referral information.
What are your office hours?
At this time, my practice is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with some evening hours. Additional times are available on a case by case basis.
